2000 Faces

This has been a special project. I’ve painted this series of 2000 faces for the start of the year 2000. From a distance, all those faces together look like a colorful mosaic. Coming closer, the impression changes and the spectators sees themselves viewed by 4000 eyes. Over the years, they have been on display at several exhibitions. A group of 500 has been sold to Art collector in San Diego, while another group of 500, has found its destiny in “the Hermitage”, a the private museum, in Santa Barbara.
